Hi,

I found quite a fair bit of engine oil in the spark plug well I assume its a broken/worn rubber ring. Are there any other situations where oil can get in? Any idea what these rubber rings are called and how difficult to replace them?

I am thinking the necessary steps are to remove the rocker cover and replace the rocker cover seal and the 4 rubber rings.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

It would most likely be caused by a bad seal at the top of the cam cover.

Probably a good time to pull the cam cover off and either replace all the seals/gaskets up there or just take the easy way out, clean them and put some gasket goo on them. :p

That is correct take the rocker cover off and replace the tappet cover gasket and the spark plug oil seals that is what I would do also, not hard job and should not be very expensive if you do it your self.
