oil in spark plug chamber

Just decided to check the spark plugs while doing some other work on the car.
Number 3 plug chamber/hole had oil in it and the plug had oil on it too.

On a scale of 1 to 10 how concerned should I be?? :suspect:

The car seems to be running fine (touch wood), its not using oil, first time I've put any in for 6 months. It passed the mot emissions test just days ago.

Any ideas guys???

Done some more research and this is probably just the seal in the spark plug well.
Anyone else had a similar problem?

I'm used to Vaux stuff and this usually means the rocker gasket has gone. Easy and cheaply replaced. It's very important to remove as much of the oil as possible (especially if its a lot) before you remove a plug. Dont just let the oil run into the cylinder as you remove the plug. If your lucky you may just burn the oil off, you could damage the valves if your unlucky.

Whats the best place to get the seals? Nissan??

Thinking if I've got to take the rocker cover off I may as well get a shiny one.

Thanks MarkGSI, I did clear most of the oil and the rest seems to have burnt off okay, just need to get the seals
