for my first car i have brought a k10 with 17000 miles on the clock

I am looking for a few tips on the car, best place to get parts from.

And are there any car shows coming up soon

welcome, thats a good find for a k10 with only 17K on the clock, happy motoring!

as for parts, ive found ebay pretty good & local parts suppliers, most places are cheap for micra's i have found. If you want the best price, ebay search, eurocar parts search (normally some sort of discount code floating around) & your local parts place & compare them, i managed to get oil, air & fuel filter & ngk plugs for £19 delivered from eaby! then got 5l 10-40 oil locally for £14.99 hth's

Yea its a briliant car, shame im knocking 60 miles a day on it down the M6, loving it tho

17k is excellent. mine has 124,825 at the moment! Happy micra driving!
