Hi guys/gals,

I recently put my Mercedes off the road for restoration, and managed to find a K11 local for a bargain price. This is in fact my second Micra (last one ended up with 3 wheels :rolleyes:), even though my first micra cost me scrap value, I loved driving it so much Ive bought another one for winter.

So here it is when I got it home a couple months ago: (looking quite granny spec)

Plans are:

1.3 crank and rods/cga3 engine
some sort of manifold
sr rear spoiler (if it fits an 02?) or a nismo one
2" exhaust
throttle bodies depending if i can get cheapish management

Cheers Frank, actually while youre here...Just a quick question haha!

I was reading up about putting crank and rods into a 1.0, and you were on about somethink being different about the post 2000/coilpack engines. Cant remember what but im sure it was to do with where the piston connects to the rod?

So heres the question haha, can i buy a pre 2000 engine and the crank and rods will fit no problem?
 
the coilpack pistons and rings are different robbie, and the CGA3 is a bigger bore eh, but the short engines fit ok (block/crank assy)
