Hi folks.

I've just bought a K11 and need some advice.

The car looks really good, (61000 miles on an 'L' plate) drives well and has been well maintained with full service history. It's clean and tidy except for some worrying rusting at the rear of the sills on both sides. Otherwise goes really well, and a treat to drive.

Is this a difficult/ expensive repair? Is it normal practice to patch these or are new sills needed? I'd like to think that some invisible mending can be done! An idea of amount of work and cost would be appreciated.

Thanks.

try a search as this is a common problem with the k11.

depending on if there is a hole and what size will determine if new sills are needed

while your checking for rust have a look at the front crossmember, these tend to rust also.

theres a link to web site on here that sells new sills :)
