Im heather im 20, and currently own a k12. im looking for a way to change the front wheel bearing myself.. any ideas? Oh and any ideas other than replacing the part on how to stop my boot constantly unlocking? Thanks

hi heather
the front wheelbearings are usually "pressed" into the hub, and many opt to fit a 2nd hand hub instead.

Cheers i'll do that than any ideas on the boot unlocking, its driving me mad. sounds like ive got someone locked in there tryna get out lol!:glare:

Hi Heather, what's this K12 boot issue I keep reading about? Mine sometimes sounds like it's not quite shut (lots of road noise coming into the car) but I've stripped the rear seats out of mine so I assumed it was that...

the boot unlocks itself,, my bf says a micro switch most likely knackered through water ingress etc, hes going to use electrical contact cleaner once removed to clean it,
