New Stereo

I'm gonna fit a new stereo as mine is knacked... I imagine I'll need some kind of adaptor cage or something, is this right? How do I know which one to get and where can I get it from?

It's called an ISO port. Halfrauds sell them. Or maybe try motor factor

Forgot to mention they are specific for the vehicle. So you'll need a Nissan one

and if you meant the cage that holds the stereo in, It should come with the new stereo..

i got a cd player which i was a sony xplod, and i went to halfrauds and i showed them the cd player and then got be the wires, but it see me back a massive £58.98, so i would not recommend to go there because it is very expensive, go to a local audio centre because they have kits for much cheaper or if you want to go proper diy then you need:
heat shrink,
solder,
soldering metal,
and a volt meter

to me that sounds like the price of a new adapter out the back of the stereo to the ISO plug, you need to get a converter plug that converts the nissan plugs the the standard ISO adapter, halfords sell them for about 10-15 pounds, for pretty much 60 pounds thats defo the connector from the back of the stereo to the iso adapter..
