near side break light keeps going

hi

i have to change the bulb in my passenger side break light because it goes literally once a month...what could be the issue? anyone else had this problem?

**should read brake light not break! my morning caffeine hasnt kicked in yet at work!

poor quality bulbs maybe ?

they arent. they are just standard bulbs but not cheapie ones...is it likely to be the fuse, or possibly bad wiring?

a fuse or wiring issue cant blow a bulb, only overvoltage or vibration (or poor quality bulb)

ok, perhaps the seal has gone on the lamp fitting. thank you!

it would appear the casing around the bulb has melted and expanded. i had to crack the bulb to get it out, then i heated up the white ring with a lighter and popped the new bulb back through before it cooled and went hard again...i would imagine ill be doing the same thing if it it goes again!
