Miss-signaling?

Its been happening since i bought the car.

I changed the spark plugs and thats improved things abit but usually at high revs or just when going straight the car will jolt.

I may have to check the air intake and change the spark plug leads and see if it helps.

anyone experienced similar problems and got solutions?

Miss firing???? Sorry not quite sure what you mean exactly, struggle to past 4k rpm, lacking power, idling rough???

yes miss firing sorry. it rained tonight and was jolting quite heavily. the manifold looks like it has cracked and a mechanic has put some sort of weild on it...badly! could this be it?
