i have been offerd a turbo plus manifold of a diesel car and im wondering if there is any difference between a turbo for a petrol engine and one wich is ment for a diesel??

i believe one difference could be size but as im looking for a small quick spooling turbo wich can run around 6-8psi. i was kinda hopeing this would be fine

are the same for a TD there usualy smaller whats it off? does it ahve any markings?

Its off a vectra turbo diesel.. unsure of engine size but i was hopeing i could use the manifold to cut n shut a new one to fit the micra

i think vectras are 1.8 TD.
also no difference in the turbos just size im told

i THINK the vectra TD will be a T25.... Thats assuming its the same as the astra TD i looked at before and blagged an intercooler and radiator from for my last K10.
