As Robert said, Kristian has a nice wee ongoing 2.0l T project on the go

search the forums for "Little Bandit". Guy called Dave Bull built that and dont quote me but i think he got 430Bhp out of that!

Nex knows the 1.6 conversion, another guy called Wide_arched_boy done the 1.6 conversion

fitting a 1.3 engine gives a bit more power aswell once you have done a few things to it like exhaust and turbo etc you can get a very quick micra

forgot to add it's a straight swap really just have to change a few things, have a search should bring some answers
