Micra k11 1.0 ecu wet due to matrix leak

Hi I have had problems with my car it was over fueling oon number 2 cylinder and engine light was flashing had it plugged in came up with nats cleared code light goes off then turn car off and on again and its back flashig then realised the matrix was leaking and been dripping on ecu and it has corroded the board inside can I just change ecu with another 1 or have I have to get 1 with a key and reader any help would be great

sounds like the current was tracking across the electronic components then, and drying it out might not work ? i used sawdust in a sand blaster gun once to clean up the circuit board on a K11 flood damaged ecu (i probably should have re-lacquered it afterwards too)

If you change the ecu, you will also need the immu(the unit on the ignition barrel), and the chip out of the associated ignition key.
