lowering my micra k11

hi I was wondering if it was okay to cut the springs on my micra or should i bay new ones.
i have two micra 1,3 gx and wanted to do something different here in iceland and i also wanted to lower the seats a bit, it feels like siting in a kitchen chair(lol).

and what is the cheapest way to modify my darling.

basically yes it's fine to cut springs, just watch out they stay captive at the rear.

Cut springs are a marmite mod. The ride will be aweful if you cut springs, but it's an almost free mod so swings and roundabouts.

No its actually really stiff id say it was the same as the lowering springs I had just lower of course.

Well fair enough then, I just would have thought that increasing the spring stiffness and leaving soft shocks would have given a bouncy ride...

VeRy BoUnCeY. A ride like a dingy in a storm. But I've managed to daily a Micra on shortened springs for nearly 4 years , so it cant be so bad, or perhaps I just have very low standards.

anyone any suggestions on what would be the cheapest way to lower my micra, without cutting the springs? heard a few roomers about corsa b springs fitting them but just want to get some second opinions )
