Limp mode / safe mode

I have a cg13 in a k10 shell for oval racing I am using a 3.7 box which I don't know what it's out of I seem to hit safe mode or limp mode and have to use 3rd which is a balls any help please would like to stay in 2nd

Sounds like you are hitting the rev limiter, you could try the optical disc mod ?
