I had a look at doing the brake shoes on my K10 and assumed it would be like my previous one where the hub was part of the drum. It's not, it's the later type with separate hubs. I would still like to remove the hubs for greater access when doing the shoes.
The offside hub nut moved with out much of a fight but the nearside one appears to be welded on. I have a breaker bar and scaffold poll to help but I'm not sure if the thread is left hand or not. Can someone please tell me for definite what thread is on the nearside before I break something? Thanks.
