Late Facelift's Bonnet Is Not Close It Properly. Please Help.

Hi Guys,

I sort these mot problems already so i got a problem with this bonnet. its not close it properly so its loose. How can i fix it because this car is going back to mot tomorrow morning. i dont want to fail again lol.

i check on this bonnet puller so its loose. I can't see any problems so it looks like ok to me but its still loose.

Mechanic said that cable is damaged. Is it possible to fix damaged cable?

Wouldn't bother, stick a new, or scrappy on, won't be big bucks - no way. Me, I'd just sit up and down on it until it fitted - ahem!!!!

Ok thanks, I will try out tomorrow. Dave, is it possible if you can take pictures of your passenger-side headlight's plug wiring please?

Mine is same as your grey tempest so I need a help about this headlight wiring picture please.

It's mixed up so it's dim light ATM and also full beam is not working.


These wires are one black, red&yellow and red&(I forget so I will find out tonight.) is it same as your passenger-side headlight's plug wiring?

Good to see these headlight plugs but these wires are not clearly to say though.

I just need to know which colour wires need to go. If its difficult for you then don't worry about it. It might be better to see in day time.
