I have a 2004 K12 1.4 Micra comfort spec with the LCD climate control with push buttons and Auto option etc.(So not the manual dials.) The whole unit has stopped working. Won't switch on...Lcd blank...nothing working. I have been told the "Control Module" is faulty and needs replacing. Can anyone tell me what exactly this is? Is it the actual panel with all the switches that has the module built into and I can just source a second hand unit, unscrew, unplug and swap out? (Lots on ebay) or is the actual module somewhere else and if I replace that, my original control panel should work again? Any electronic gurus out there have experience with this? Please help.

Hard to diagnose remotely , but best to check the fuses first, then check you have voltage to the unit, if this checks out ok then the unit will need repair or swapping out, as you say there is plenty on E bay for around £50 in different colours, photos speak a thousand words if you are able.
