i have been a bit depressed lately with a lot of crap thats been going on, and i have been frustrated that i cant do anything to my cars, so i decided i would just get them all out an take photos. unfortunately after only one of them started first time, and finding plenty of rust on the outside and damp on the inside, it made me more depressed knowing these cars are just rotting away and there is nothing i can do about it.

oh and don't ask why i have so many cars, because that question ####es me off, if you don't understand why, then you never will. this is my hobby and joy, and its what i do with my life.

but anyway, for your enjoyment here are all my k11s:

thanks :) you mean the red Gx with the black bonnet? that was my first ever car, i have had trouble letting go of it lol. i am thinking of maybe turboing it and going forest green (i don't want more than one car in the same colour, and the cab is going candy red)

Love them Ralph, hardcore k11 fan!! hope you feel better man

thanks mate, i hope to have at least one micra my whole life, there is no good reason to get any other car really, and thanks i am feeling a little bit better, its a combination of no job, no sleep, no money, no food, and people saying that having lots of cars is just stupid, when the most interesting thing in their life is world of warcraft.

Ralph, for me you're one of the real worldwide K11 lords
You live your hobbie to the max, whatever people are saying or thinking. Don't change that, stay true.
MUCH regards.
Seb

(Y) Lucky Begger! :)

Collection looks awesome.
I also love the fact that you can simply prove in a couple of photos that nearly every micra is unique! (Y)

Hi NeX,

I share your pain I know exactly what you mean when I was going through a very bad spell (not that has got any better)I had one of my pride and joys stolen (No pay out) infact I was accused of doing, even more funnier, then I was told sell a Celica convertable ,for which I replied ###### Off,this is from friends and family,I lost my job and now 4 years later I eventually had to scrap the Celica (No space or money) ,lost my Civic Vti last Jan,still no permanent job,but I have only got the Micra left and like you barely able to keep it afloat, however on a positive note,on the hole this club and it's members and far more realistic and supportive towards each other which kind of allows you to buy parts cheaper off them rather than a profitering breakers yard.
Anyway your cars look nice regardless of work maybe needed as hard as it right try to remain positive.:grinning:
I am about to post up what I did to my Micra and well it still work in progress thanks to MartinB I would not have been able to change this at a very very cheap price as budgets are very very low in our cases.
Keep your chin up

thanks mate, and sorry to hear about your situation too, i think in this recession its been hard on everyone, its just my luck that i chose that time to move country

and thanks everyone for the kind words and comments. today my gf was off work for the first time in a while so we spent the day together putting up a tent i got for the cars, it was lots of fun and we worked really hard so it felt very productive, and now we are having nice pizza and watching "Transporter" :D

anyway, we started the day with a game of "cat buck-a-roo" which i won!

then put up the mega tent
311973_2496149888658_1400161509_32954460_1753758617_n.jpg

got all the cars ready (this means sorting out the keys and plugging the batteries back in)
299564_2496151288693_1400161509_32954462_1975190385_n.jpg

did some cable tie mods to the tent to stop it falling appart (it was £75 from B&Q so i am not holding out too much hope)

then we dug up the corner of the driveway which sinks into the river and buried some HUGE rocks under there (took both of us to lift them and we put them in the volvo to move them) and then covered it back over and added some more gravel and leveled it out.
294615_2496152768730_1400161509_32954466_1878924538_n.jpg

a pitiful attempt to keep it bolted down using 9" wood screws
297778_2496153288743_1400161509_32954468_704807281_n.jpg

car one in place

finally job done. obviously a lot of bodges, the side didn't go on, the front obviously wouldn't go on, and two of the polls had to sit on the cars for them to all fit. but its working so far

I'm guessing by the look of the front archgap that the silver facelift has no engine in it, might that be where mines going?

thanks guys, i might move the cars over and see if i can get them all to fit. its rainy and windy outside now so we will see how long it lasts!

top k11'er !!!!!!!!!!
dont them car cover trap moister in and under? may be worth working on the tent to not let a drop of rain hit the cars, then wind dry's of moister,,,,,,,just a thought

i don't know really what i could do about making the tent bigger to cover the cars, but you have a point.

the cover on the cabriolet is an awesome £400 storm force cover and it is amazing how well it works, but the others are just £50 ones from halfords and they might as well be made of cotton, water goes straight through them.

but the problem is not the covers, its actually under the car, the cross members are going, and the sills, just from condensation.

seriously, every night i just dream of having a nice in door temperature controlled garage so i know they will stay exactly the same, and then i don't have to fight this battle against rust.
