k11 earth points

I am getting terrible earth problems - engine noise through speakers in my K11.

I'm running:

Aftermarket Kenwood HU, JBL 4 channel amp driving some front components, an FLI active subwoofer.

I've narrowed down the bad earth to that of the actual head unit, any recommendations on the best place to run it back to?

there's a good earth on the steering column i do believe...

Run it directly back to the battery, possibly also run a new power feed too, fresh connection and new fuse

i'm currently using the metal in the boot...the part that clicks the boot lid onto (sorry bad description) I'll be moving it to the rear seat belts under the seats soon
