Audio system

Hi, I need help designing a decent audio system for my k11 micra.

At the moment I have the stock speakers and a ####e aftermarket head unit that came with the car.

The head unit only has 4x20w output so I will probably have to replace it.

I would prefer to get speakers which fit in the rear shelf and behind the door panels.

or

I could get one of these kits (http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product_list/c_path/60_98_317/spd/4-channel-speaker-amp-deal.html) and keep the current head unit.

My current head unit doesnt have connections for an amp. For now, I think I will just get a better head unit and speakers. I might get an amp and a sub later.

it there any reason why that would not work?

both should work, just need to get an adaptor for the wires to connect properly.
i have found out, that the more money you spend on a sound system for the car the better it will sound, so just because its cheap doesnt mean it will be worth it

Alpine head unit and 17cm Alpine speakers.
These will give a vast improvement over standard.
Would n't bother with rear shelf speakers, look rubbish IMO, but, its your car.
