k11 cut out

hello - i'm new - this topic migh have been covered - please excuse if so

have k11 working perfect - all of a sudden engine cuts out on theroad - instantly - no hesitation - just cut out
if i wait - abt helf hour - it startes perfect again and goes abt a km then dies again
interestingly if i attempt to start it seems to 'balk' like the timing is so advanced its working against itself

any ideas what this could be

my money would be on the dizzy (cam sensor) mine would instantly die then start ok if left for 1/2 an hour, when the dizzy failed
