Hi people

I'm selling my CBR600 bike carb inlet manifold that i received off K10_Paul_LX earlier in the year. My plans for the car have changed so these will not be required.

They come as i received them! Will provide about 25bhp extra on a k10 by replacing the restrictive inlet system.

Looking for £200 + postage, which is exactly what i paid. Collection welcome from Horsham or Oxford areas.

i have seen these in action in pauls k10 you wont get a better inlet setup than this for the money! the car was seriously quick with these!
 
really want this but have no spare cash since i got my ss kit of umar :(

actualy now i think about it i may be able to find the cash out of my next paycheck. any mods needed to fit them?

I think it's just the case of taking the old stuff off and fitting this in it's place, but you will need a longer throttle cable. I was given one at the time so i'l give you that if i've not lost it lol.

Speedle might be able to help me out with this a bit more though as he's seen them.

well i get paid friday so i'll see what money i have, i do remember seeing them on pauls k10 looked like a brill setup.
 
Ok, at the end of the month i'm gonna be in spain for around two weeks, if that's cool with you!

I dont mind who gets them, you'l both be very satisfied with the results! Just need a confirmation from either of you that you are going to purchase, so i can withdraw these from sale.
 
i'm happy to provide help to anyone that needs info on fitting these, im sure paul would also help anyone out....... but he's not here :p
 
i'd love these for my new engine cause it would make the fastest ma12 in the club easily then after ive had my way internally lol

They're too good to sell outside the MSC! Someone on here will love em.

Tell you what im always playing with cars and prefer to try new things out rather than bolt on bits espeacialy if i can say i've built that myself.

One of you guys can have them instead, if you need help fitting ill be more than happy to help out.

Ok, does anyone SERIOUSLY want them? I'm happy to wait for Fordy or anyone else to come up with the funds if that's an issue.
 
ok, i'm now seriously considering buying these off ya rather than buying the ss. one question tho, didnt pauls clutch and gear box die after fitting these? or was his car running even greater bhp with other mods? i'm estimating that with these fitted the car will be running at about 75bhp. this doesnt seem to much for the gearbox to handle.

apparently pauls gearbox was nackered before he fitted them anyway! besides, he had a 1.2 with a custom outlet manifold. I think combining the lot + weak box was too much for the car to cope with.

early k11 clutches fit the k10, so one of those would be ideal. You might even be able to get an uprated k11 one that will fit the k10, so that's one thing you'd never have to worry about!

I was going to fit them to mine for JAE, but a week before, my hitachi went wrong so needed to concentrate on getting the car actually moving instead of fitting these. I'd still love to see them fitted, but my plans for the car have changed :)

Postage i estimate will be about £20, due to weight, size and all the accessories i've got. If it's any less when i come to send it, i'l paypal the difference back.

yeh i changed my mind when i sat in my half finished K10 ls, and just couldnt bring my self to getting rid of it, i wouldnt have the space to keep the ss aswell so it was one or the other.


so its the custom manifold with bike carbs, throttle cable? anything else with it?

by the way all i will be getting copies of the manifold made so all can benefit from this mod ill keep you all up to date on the progress and cost.
 
speedle- could well be interested in the manifold copies, at some point in the far future. I had to let arnold down (sorry again mate) but I'm glad they've gone to a great home :)
 
aye was chatting with Paul about the carbs last nite when he had the car rolling roaded it was running 74bhp at the wheels (bear in mind the 1.2 is 60bhp at the fly!!!) which was quite impressive!

i have a ma12 big ported head to go on and i'll be having the cam re-profiled also which should be interesting. looking forward to munching some VTR's next week :p
