Fitted my head unit today and decided to fit in my amp and sub to..so i was just wondering if it would be possible to run two batterys in the k11...one obvious the main battery in the engine bay and then link that one to one in the boot that i'l be using for my amp? would the alternator be powerful enough to charge both batterys?

Anyone else installed bass in their k11? whats everyone running? i.e sub/amp

You won't need an extrra battery for a sub and amp

im running a hifonics brutus 1600 watt amp with a 15" kicker l5 and they'r known to be power hungry so just was considering it as i have a new spare battery sitting around

the alternator will feed 2 battery,s no probs

If you spend a lot of time idling in traffic a second battery might be useful with a really powerful sound system
