Highest MPG you have ever gotten?

Considering a trip from newcastle--> London and want to how how cheap I can get it!
Time is not an issue!
From doing about 65ish on mostly motorway miles the highest economy I've ever had so far is 44.3MPG

That's about 36ish qud!

Best I ever got out of a tank of diesel was 55.8 mpg .

When I was driving around with empty pockets and trying to make every drop of fuel last, I think I just scraped 45mpg, this was a while ago. Getting significantly less now I've started wringing it's neck a bit

think mine was bout 50mpg, stock setup, during sunny daytime, minimum weight, no electronics turned on (no lights, no 12v charger, demister), heater fully cold & fan off, steady 60mph drafting behind lorries on motorways, non-stop from full to empty tank.
twas utter boring, loooong and uncomfortable

My first tankful was just over 45mpg, I managed 390 on the tank (370 before the light came on) quite pleased with that.

not many ?...i think its due to the k11 having a heavy body [ a bit like my wife]
