What is the best way to free a sticking front brake calipar?

its rarely the 2 slider pins on micra,s, sometimes its the piston, but usually just the pads and their spring guides that have rusted up, you have to remove the bottom slider bolt, then swing the caliper upwards, and then free off and lube whatever is sticking
