a few weeks ago I bought a 2000 w micra1.0
for £100. just as a cheap run-a-round while my subaru is of the road getting a few bits and pieces done, I knew it was a ruff little car so I spent 2 weeks welding both sills a patch on the floor, both tre's a ball joint and a cv boot and it flew through its test. 2 weeks later going up a steep hill with 3 others in the car the sump dropped its oil and the engine seized, so I hunted around a found a 1.3 engine at the local scrapy for £100 spent last Sunday taking the old one out ( damd power steering pump) and Saturday putting the new one in, got it running but now 1st 2nd and 3rd if I put more than 1/4 throttle it loses power and chugs along, 4th and 5th are great, I'm going to have a search round here see if I can find anything like it if not I'll start a new thread
