First of all, get some light in there and move the passenger seat all the way back, you actually need your head in the footwell to see what you're doing. Find the wires that come out of the motor and follow them to a brown plug, unscrew the screw on each side of this plug (you can unplug it first, if you like) and pull the lot out. That's the resistor card.

but out of that lot i bet there are only like 2 or 3 actual 2.0 micras lol

Not sure if this is something to do with the Heater resistor hard...but the middle 2 blowers blow out colder air than the far ones (which blow out hot). The middle ones are slightly warm but no where near as hot as the outter ones.
