Getting a spare key

I need a spare key for a K11. It has a red square on the end of the key ring. Does this indicate it has an immoboliser? Is the only place to get a spare the Nissan garage? Thanks for your help people!

Yes I believe the red thing on the end of they key means you have a imobiliser. Possibly yes a Nissan garage should be able to sort you out, dunno on the price though?

I had one made in a key cutting/security shop near Bolton for our 96 K11.
They cut the key and copied the chip.

Try your local key cutting place.

Cost me around £25 I think.
Nissan will be VERY expensive.
