gearbox!

Every gear is hard to engage whether im driving along or not....when the engine is off i cannot get a gear unless i push really hard (clutch down)......

is the gearbox on its way out?

im going to change the gearbox oil as someone suggested....what gearbox oil should i use am i cannot find my haynes manual!

its possible your clutch is,nt releasing fully
has it got worse over time ?
sae 80 oil btw

thanks for the oil, i might as well do it....yes its getting worse....is that just in need of the clutch cable being adjusted slightly?

Yeah probably. They can loosen over time.

over 2 months lol!

Mine fell off mate shortly after the gearbox was changed, so it might have been put on badly and has just loosened up

yes give the cable nut a few turns and see how it feels !
