gearbox problem, Help please??

Hi all,
I was driving along today and all of a sudden I'm stuck in 4th gear, and wont come out of 4th gear no matter what i do.

When it happened, I was going from 3rd into 4th, it just basically threw itself into 4th gear hard and wont come out of 4th.

any suggestions would be much appreciated.

yeah it is moving when you're trying to put it out of gear

sounds like the rear mount or bolts have let go, try the scissor jack under the diff and see if it free,s the gearchange off
