Bang, then a whistle.

Great, so i have blown my gearbox, does 110 pounds for a thirty thousand mile replacement sound right?

thats what i got quoted and i think i might aswell do the clutch while i have the lot out!

I can see the milage of the car thankfully :) i know somone who works at one. it's not cheap. but it's not overly priced should be all running this afternoon

yeah. my "march engine" with "about 40k" on it from craig, no quibbles with craig he was just passing it on, had quite obviously done about 200k more than that and with no oil changes judging by the colour of the insides. plus i am dubious as to weather it was a march engine as it says quite clearly UK on the cylinder head. but if you know the gearbox and the car it came from thats a good price.
im lucky i have an origonal super s gearbox and apart from the famous input shaft bearing whine from time to time, its perfectly fine.
