Fuel filter replacement help

Jus received my fuel filter, I know how to fit it but is there anything I should do before hand like de pressurise?

you could take the fuelpump fuse out and let it tick over till it dies, but i dont bother usually

It's recommended a lot to de-pressurise but at worst you spill a some petrol.

Have a few clean rags ready and do it on a cold engine.

ive changed suburu fuel filters and forget to depressurize it, went all over my face and hair lol but i learnt to just remove fuel filler cap to depressurize the system before changing fuel filter and then when you change the filter and tightened the clips, just turn ignition on and let the fuel pump pressurize the system
