Fitting Alloys!

So i bought some nice alloys off a friend, and attempted to fit them tonight.

I was faced with a problem... upon removing the old wheel, i found that the micra hubs are made so that the nut un-bolts off the bolt, and the wheel is removed that way, leaving the bolt welded in place... First problem is, this means i can't use locking-wheel nuts... as they're made so they screw INTO the hub...

Also, upon fitting the wheel, the nut went quite far into the bolt-hole on the wheel, and so couldn't get my wrench in far enough to do it up... make sense? lol.

If I was to take it to a mechanics, would they have the necessary means to do this for me? or am I missing something quite simple here...

Cheers - apologies for any mistakes... i'm tired.

I found I had to use a long neck spanner or a long socket to fit the 15"'s I had Also you can get locking wheel nuts just make sure their the correct fitting for the hub.

having studs is just as common as having bolts on cars! And locking wheel nuts are just as available as bolts.
