Fitted new thermostat

Hi all. I've fitted a new thermostat today and cannot believe the difference, the car warms up much much quicker, and the heater is much hotter .Best £6 I've ever spent on the old girl.

You'll probably find you use a bit less petrol too.

top pipe, then unbolt the cover

Ok thanks. Ive always read about the thermostat and wanted to check it but didnt know where it was

Ive just looked at prices online amd there seems to be alot of different sizes for the micra. Anyone know the size?

I got it from first line, part no ... FTS104.82. Perfect fit . It doesn't come with a gasket so I used a thin smear of RTV sealant on the housing after making sure it was spotlessly clean .

nah, they,re all the same, try and get one that is higher than the stock 82 deg one tho
