Just out of interest, how many of you own your Micra as your first car?

My K11 is my first car, and it's been perfect. Does everything I want it to, is reliable (*touch wood*), isn't hugely slow and I love it. I even passed my driving test in it, bucket seats and all lol. Driving examiner was none too impressed, but I still passed.

If your Micra isn't your first car, what was and is the Micra better?

The micra was my first, second, third and fourth car

And I still have all bar my first - which I gave to Ed.

1) Red K10 1.0 LS (Now with Super S interior in Ed's capable hands)
2) White K10 1.0 Camper Van (Won the Most Unique Modification at JAE 2005!)
3) White K11 1.0 L - Still works and MOTd till March, but don't drive it any more
4) Black K11 1.3 SR - My current car with all the stuff in my sig planned for it

I couldn't have picked a better model of car to start driving with. I've now been driving 2 years with them though

My first car was K11 1Ltr "Wave" - basicly an LX with a sticker. i know have a K11 1.3 SR.

I think the micra is great fun although i got alot of stick off people at work untill i followed them home

My Micra is my 2nd car. When I passed my test I was desperate for a car and had little funds so bought a 5 door Fiesta Mk3. After a while I was geting bored of it being so slow and it not starting when cold or wet due to low compression. So started to look at other cars, liked he Micra as it was different and found my SR on Ebay - Got a bargain of a price for it too at the time

i had a mk3 3 door fiesta - 1.1 lol, then on to the 1.0 micra then the 1.8 Focus which im well chuffed with, apart from the damage i caused to it i never had any other trouble with the micra - oh apart from when the NATS went crazy

well where do i start lol, passenger window doesn't go down, driver window only goes down so far, rusty wing, its slow as ####,its missing although thats getting fixed soon and ive got dents in my roof and the bonnet is scratched. it is very reliable though

yeah the micra that i have now (k11) is my first car its a really good first car. its the gx version so it had a lot of features standard which i was impressed with because its only a little runaround.

definately gonna get another micra because they are great all around cars

but im getting rid of it because i really need a 5 door now (and maybe a 1.3 )

My First car was a Nissan Micra K10 1.2 GS...Which was quick as ducks...

But i now drive a Micra K11 1.0 S...Which is quicker than the ducks...Belive it or not...(it is a 16v)

My first car was a silver K11 facelift, got written off tho (not by me, altho i did smash it up about 3 months before it got written off, i rekon that car was jinxed)... then with the insurance payout i got the car i got now.. china-blue(purple) k11 facelift

4. 53 plate Nissan Micra 1.2 S
5. 04 plate Nissan Micra 1.2 S (current - insurance replacement for 53 were stolen)

Love my K12 but still miss my K11 at times. lol.

my first car was a renault clio prima 1.2 nice bought for 100 sold for 300
then it was renault laguna 1.8 sport , nissan micra 1.0 lx , peugeot 406 1.8 lx and now the 1.3 lx micra which is the most fun to drive out of all of them although the 406 was nice on the autobahn in the summer
