Facelift to prefacelift engine swap

Yeah lol its a case of a head swap if you get a coilpack engine which is added hassle. Just fit the flywheel and clutch ftom the preface to the facelift engine

do you reckon an engine of ebay wud be any good

It is dodgy, they could have sat in the open or fitted to a car in a scrapyard with bonnet open or anything. Its always best to hear it run to be honest. What size engine?

ive found one local so if i need it, dats the one id say, 1l

are they timing belt or chain, i found out i mite just have to replace a valve if its belt

theres 2 chains matee one from crank to a gear in the centre and a chain from the gear in the centre to the cams will look for a apic

if the engine has been turned back overs some how? this can jump teeth on the chain and then they possibly tried to start it
