Exhaust with a blow in the centre section question.

I recently noticed a small hole in the front section of my exhaust, its about the size of a pea and is close to the join of the front/rear sections.
Am I right in thinking that the front sections are different with manual and auto models?

they should be the same garry the coilpack system is different tho
