ECUtalk cable problem?

Hi all

after sometime, I have tried to connect my little Micra using the ECUtalk cable and it isnt working.. so after opening the ECUtalk usb cover I found that one of the wires are not connected.. the Red one.. which i think is 12v..

I dont get where it should be connected to on the pcb baord.. can anyone who has one please answer this question for me so i can solder it back to where it should be?

that wire does,nt look long enough to me ash, have you loaded the ftdi driver, and selected the right com port ?

it seems to be working now, its weird, i havent done anything with it... looks like my laptop was playing up.. thanks anyway Frank

exactly like that refresh this for those like me who lag behind
got the china usb lead going today on ecutalk. spot on instructure here.
