consult cable

as above i am currently looking for a consult cable, i have recently bought an elm 327 odb2 cable and the 14 pin nissan adapter , but it will not find the ecu.

so i have come accross this one on ebay

what i want to know is , has anybody had first hand experience with this particular cable? and will it work with ecu talk software?

or should i just go for the more expensive ecu talk cable

Bag and me have this cable, looks good, works well, but quality build is not "tip top" and it's very fragile (no casing around the electronic parts, just heatshrink) You pay for what you have. ECUtalk from Peter is a better option imho: http://www.ecutalk.com/interface.aspx or even better the LCD display: http://www.ecutalk.com/consultlcd.aspx because you will quickly notice the software (provided on the CD with the cable you linked) are not really user friendly.

ok bud ,i think ill steer clear of that one and go for the ecutalk , thanks for the advice m8
