Yeah, if I can get some on sale somewhere tomorrow, I might get some axle stands.

However, my haynes guide says I need adapters for the stands to protect the sills?

Is this just nissan trying to get more money out of you, or is it gonna be a problem?

I never put my axle stands on the sills i jack from there, I put the sxle stands where the wishbones bolt to the car, fits over them better.

Hmm.

I was thinking of spraying my steelies you see. Maybe I could be ghetto and put the discs on bricks....

But it looks like they could take up to a week to be properly done, so I might leave it for a bit. Need my car. Or I could buy some spares, and do them.

That is very smart and something I did not think off!

Thank you very much ;)

Do you reckon I should do the chrome lip thing?

Yes! deffo, looks ace and a cheap way of getting a good look, just take your time as derusting properly takes a while.

Would using the Hammerite straight to metal paint work with the plastikote stuff?

Or do you need normal spraypaint and primer etc?

Yeah.

Kewl, might buy some of that then.

Probably get a better finish with normal spray paint though...

Ohh, and sorry to keep going on at this, but on the Plasitkote website, there's no mention of chrome effect metallic paint. Did you use the silver one?
