Distributor cap

Hi, my little baby doesn't start. (three days didn't use it, weather-heavy rain)
Battery -OK
Spark plugs - OK
Ignition leads - 6 month old
Fuel pump - working(noise and spark plugs wet)
Want to check dizzy, but can't unscrew 3 bolts(only 1 done, 2 not - very old)
With srewdriver not possible, try with socket 4mm-small, 5mm big, 3/16 - small
What to do?

the 4 contact points in the cap tend to build up alot of white oxide which tends to increase electrical resistance and effect cold starting and I often recommended wirebrushing it to bare metal.

for easier removal of the cap, first mark the position of the dizzy unit against the engine head, unplug the dizzy leads and connectors, remove the dizzy off the head and now you can access the dizzy cap screws.
