I have thought of such things frank. Break chillin. Okay I sham raise her. How did you do yours frank?i took the rubber weatherstrip off at the back of the bonnet, for extra ventilation when stationary and low speed.
but i find that the heater vents will still blow over a certain speed (even with the blower off) so there must be some sort of pressure increase at speed in the scuttle area ? how about some subtle wing vents chris

Just raise the back of your bonnet
On a normal bonnet (K10s arent normal) you can simply unbolt your hinges put in a 1 inch block of wood and just use a 1 inch longer bolt
easy as that. I used a mild steel one, coated with a hose pipe... just hose pipe worked well for a while

Better option, I was somewhat influenced by easy access to free washers and longer bolts
I got them off ebay 8 bolts in total for different threads and plenty of colours
