clutch slip

my clutch has started slipping :( i can do the fix, but i wanted to know if there's a readily available upgrade (either an uprated clutch, or one from a different car).

is that bite point higher than 1/2 way? if so i'd first loosen the clutch cable thumbscrew end till it bites bout 1/2 way. as the clutch plate wears thinner, there's more tension on the cable making the bite ride higher till it reaches above the pedal rest point and so it slips.

haha tried that fix. its just siezed in place. 3 days of spraying with WD-40 and its still stuck firmly. also, access seems to be a problem. if/when you did this job what did you move to get to the thumbwheel?

you have to pull the clutch pedal up on some off em before you can tighten the cable screw, little lock nut near the screw needs loosening to

oh yea forgot to mention u first loosen the 10mm locknut near the thumbscrew.

its a tight fit for hands to reach there, removing the battery tray will ease access
