Clutch

I've noticed my clutch is slipping a little when pulling off uphill or with a full car, this mean my clutch is on its way out?

Rung a couple of garages earlier to get a quote on what it would cost to replace, they all saying around 200+. Considering ive looked around and you can get a clutch kit for under 100 does this mean its a difficult job?

Would any of you guys be willing to help fit one if i order myself one?!

Try adjusting the clutch cable before finally replacing the clutch...changing it isnt that hard, its just time consuming as the driveshafts / gearbox have to come off apart from that bit the rest is a doddle in comparison.

Another problem that will cause the same problem is a leaking input shaft seal (worst case), it'll dump oil on the clutch...but youd probably notice that as fluid loss and youd have more frequent pickup problems, so for now you can ignore that :)
