Changing gearbox oil on 1.6

Doing mine on Saturday and after an hours searching on t'internet, I've managed to find a 2006-2008 service manual. I took these earlier

Drain?

Fill?

Service manual confirmed the plastic (?!) plug is the fill but is the other one the drain? The service manual doesn't mention the drain .
