Change to straight through exhaust

Hi
We have obtained a straight through performance exhaust system off a 1.3 Micra to put on our 1.4 (1348cc) engine. The existing engine has a CAT with a Lambda sensor before, and O2 sensor after it. The new exhaust has no CAT and has only one (assume Lambda) sensor.
What will happen if we only connect the one sensor on the new exhaust?

it might flag a faultcode bryn, so you may need to weld another boss in (a decat/extended one preferably)

Thanks Frank.
Is a decat/extended one readily available to buy anywhere?
I have seen an O2 eliminator mentioned (but it seemed to be for motorbikes). Is this a possible alternative?

ebay have loads mate, they pull the 2nd lambda out of the direct gas stream, and emulate the effect that the cat would normally have :)
