4 2 1 exhaust lambda sensors

I am fitting CG13 engine in a mini and have a question regarding the exhaust manifold. The standard manifold has a O2 sensor before the cat and another after the cat. As I will not have a cat I was going to put one sensor in primary pipes 3 and the other in the final pipe (once I have welded a bung on). Is this correct and will this be OK with a standard ECU?

only the coilpack engines have 2 lambda,s, what ecu are you using ?

Ah! I could be getting confused with the 2 bungs on the Peugeot 206 manifold I butchered to fit the Micra.
In that case I am better welding a bung on the large final pipe and fitting it there?

The engine is out of a 2000 mystique model so it will be standard ECU. I was planning to change the ECU at a later stage to either Nistune or (more likely) Microsquirt. Wideband would get fitted at that stage and then a possible further change to GSXR 750 throttle bodies.

I just want to get it finished and have some fun!
