Central Locking Kit from Ultimate Car Parts - any good?

these kits are normal good fitted something similiar in my girlfriends car and my other micra and both seem to work fairly well (Y)

well, I went ahead and ordered one - and it was delivered less than 24 hours later so can't fault them for that!

I'll (attempt to!) fit it this weekend and report back on how it goes.

One thing I did note was that Ultimate's ebay prices are £5 cheaper than their website price for the same product...

would it not be easier to fit locks from a micra that had cl anyway? breakers would do them for about the same as that kit id have thought, and a lot less hasstle to fit.

Had my first attempt at fitting, here are my initial findings:

Loom between control unit and master servo (is that what to call it?) is far too short

Servo is quite large and I'm not sure exactly how to mount it in the limited space in the door

Then it got dark so I gave up. :down:

I'm going to get some extra wire from Halfrauds over the christmas hols and have another go with plenty of daylight!
