carby question

what are the diffrences between the 1.0 carb and the 1.2 carb, ive heard stories that they are the same and have heard another story saying that the 1.0 carb would be a upgrade if you were to swap it for a 1.2 carb.

not worried about the upgrade but can i put a 1.0 carb on a 1.2 engine and it will run fine.

apparently the jets are bigger on a 1.0? maybe cos the redline is higher than a 1.2 and thus it would have to support more flow at higher revs, makes sense in a way

the 1.0 carb should in theory run fine on a 1.2,

I thought the reason for the max power@rpm was lower on an ma12 compared to the ma10 was due to the ma12 needing more air being 235cc bigger which it cannot be supplied with in standard set up?

P.S i'm selling a K10 weber carb if your interested?
