Right think this the right section, been busy today but managed to get this done. What do you think shall i rub the lettering down??

yes rub the lettering down, it will look much better

If by rubbing the lettering down you mean grinding them off then yes, done that to a 1.6 cam cover and looks mint!

No not removing so its smooth, just removing the paint on top and polishing the letters, then laquering over!

yes thats a coilpack rocker cover, the parts that the coil pack bolt goes in to you want to take back to metal as the coil pack uses it for a earth if you look on the bit around the coil pack its bare metal where the bolt goes through
